During the 30 day trial period, the patients are asked to meet with the audiologist to ensure that they are adjusting to amplification after they have been wearing them in environments typical of the patient's lifestyle. There may be multiple follow up appointments as you get used to sounds not heard in a long time.
Family members or a friend are strongly encouraged to attend any of the visits, especially the hearing aid selection and delivery/orientation appointments.
